In all the political polarised debates we are losing the nuance in women's lives and stories. Women who are pro life or pro choice are boxed into one category or another. We need to normalise telling our stories openly without judgement. That is true liberation. Personally, I've had a termination and have massively struggled. I was heavily influenced by the father who did not want the baby and the friends who were telling me it was a 'bunch of cells'. It did not feel like my choice or something that was responded to with respect and care. We as women need to support and give non-judgemental support.
