We were having pre-drinks in our house before heading out for my housemates birthday. One of our friends arrived already drunk and revealed to us later that night that her period was a week late and she’d drank 3 litres of vodka in 3 days so ‘if there was anything there, this would get rid of it’. She ended up not being pregnant, but her fear was palpable when you saw her.
