I’ve just started an Msc in reproductive and sexual health – predominantly looking at developing countries. Two things have been particularly salient with me:

1) When US Republicans reinstate the Global Gag Rule, maternal mortality shoots up.

2) When you liberalise and make abortion more available, fewer people actually need it.

It hurts me that people ignore scientific evidence.
